Tattenhall Community Association:

Tattenhall Community Association (TCA) comprises a group of volunteer Trustees who are responsible for the Barbour Institute which is rented from the Bolesworth Estate. Those involved have raised funds for the substantial building and internal works that have taken place over recent years paying for the re-wiring, plumbing, underfloor heating, lighting and sound equipment and decorating amongst many other projects.  The most recent improvement to be completed is the resurfacing of the car park.

The Bolesworth Estate, to which TCA pays a nominal rent, has also contributed to some of the major works including the new roof.

The building has been sympathetically refurbished to maintain its character while providing bright and welcoming rooms which can accommodate a wide range of activities.

It is vital that the Barbour Institute is financially self-supporting so TCA depends on the rental income from the many varied organisations and private bookings which use the rooms, for daily running, along with fundraising for specific projects.
